Jeremy Fish
Mr. J. Fish Lives and works in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood. His artwork deals with the relationship of all things cute and creepy, and the balance between the two. The work tends to be narrative stories designed with a library of symbols and characters. In the last few years Mr. Fish has exhibited his work in Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan, Poland, Hungary, Denmark, Canada, Holland, Austria, Slovakia, Italy, and all over the United States. his designs can be seen on tee shirts, skateboards, vinyl toys, beer steins, and a lot of other random crap. In 2007 Mr Fish started a new brand called Superfishal, with the help of his loyal team of hard working gnomes. Together, Fish and the gnomes plan to make the best possible crap with his artwork slapped on it. Also in 2007, Mr. Fish was fortunate enough to work on several projects with his musical hero, Aesop Rock. The cover artwork for Aesop's "None Shall Pass" as well as posters, tee shirts, and two music videos. After a solo show in Rome on halloween 2007, wish will release a book in the spring of 2008, documenting this italian adventure and the work that came out of this project. Also, in late 2007 Fish will release his long awaited new vinyl toy "Barry The Beaver" with Upper Playground and Ningyoshi toys.
